I. Love. This. So. Much.
I. Love. This. So. Much.
More of the same. I thought it was hot last week. Hahahahah.....
It has been sooooo hot this week. We haven't done much of anything to be honest. Lots of pool time though.
It's been hard to keep up this week! Summer is slipping away though. I am working on the calendar for August already. What??!
Instead of blasting a post a day during this personal project, I thought I would just do it by week.
Yes, we've moved. We are going to miss our Clarksville friends immensely. In fact, Austin's face captures the collective emotion of the family leaving Tennessee. But alas, we are now in Missouri and settling in.
It is always humbling and awe-inspiring to reflect on how the Lord has provided for us...and me personally, over the years. I am in no way worthy of the grace and forgiveness He bestows upon me time and time again and yet ... He does. He always does.
We always get there early. The calm before the storm. We are going to miss our CC family here for sure.
I'm terrible about shooting in the winter. Terrible. I realized the other day that, besides the video I shot, I have not picked up my camera for personal stuff at all this month. Oh, I had it on the to-do list but it kept getting pushed by other things. I always have big photography plans at the beginning of the year and they almost never happen.
So here are all four of my children. In the doorway. Under strong protest from everyone except Kenny. She still loves doing the photographer-kid thing. And no, Austin wouldn't look at the camera. Yay for checking off boxes!
We are immensely blessed and it is never more evident than at Christmastime.
Happy birthday sweet girl.
The Middle Tennessee/Kentucky region has this whole fall pumpkin patch thing down. We were invited to visit a new one tonight with our dear friends. It was a blast with live bluegrass music, animals and a bonfire. We also did a nighttime hay ride and picked pumpkins by lantern light. We finished the night off with some warm apple cider. Yum!
We made our yearly pilgrimage to Christian Way Farm again. We just love this place. Austin was elated to discover a train made of mow-mows. It was like a dream for him.
You are not a little girl anymore. You are strong and opinionated, you are beautiful. God has shaped and changed you so much this year and it is exciting to watch. Your mind works in amazing ways and your passions are so intense they are almost blinding.
Cling to the Lord, precious girl. When things seem insurmountable or the tremendous tide of emotions that stir inside of you threaten to spill over, HE is the only one who can help you.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
